A. This website

3. Server log files

This website is a static informational site. It does not use cookies, tracking scripts, analytics services or embedded third-party content. When you visit it, our web server automatically processes technical information that your browser transmits, including:

  • IP address of the requesting device
  • Date and time of the request
  • Requested page / file
  • Browser type and version, operating system
  • Referrer URL

This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website). Log files are not merged with other data sources and are deleted after a short retention period.

4. Contact by email

If you contact us by email, the data you provide (email address, name, content of your message) is stored for the purpose of handling your inquiry (Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR). We do not share this data with third parties. It is deleted once your inquiry has been resolved, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

B. Our games

5. General information on our games

Our games are distributed through platforms such as Steam (Valve Corporation), Google Play (Google) and the Apple App Store (Apple). When you install or purchase a game, the respective platform operator processes your data under its own privacy policy; we receive no payment data from these platforms.

Our PC titles contain no advertising and no in-app purchases. Some of our free mobile games are financed through optional in-app purchases and advertising, and use the third-party services described below. Which services a specific game uses is stated in its store listing.

6. Analytics and crash reporting (Google Firebase)

Our mobile games use Google Firebase, a development platform provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. We use the following Firebase services:

  • Firebase Analytics — collects usage events (e.g. sessions, level progress, feature usage), approximate location derived from a truncated IP address, device information (model, OS version, language) and pseudonymous identifiers (app instance ID, advertising ID where consented). We use this data to understand how our games are played and to improve them.
  • Firebase Crashlytics — collects crash reports and related technical data (device state, stack traces, device model, OS version) so we can find and fix bugs.

Analytics data is processed on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR), which you give or refuse in the in-game consent dialog and can withdraw at any time in the game's settings. Crash reporting is based on our legitimate interest in providing stable software (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA; Google is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. More information: Google Privacy Policy and Firebase Privacy and Security.

7. Advertising

Some of our free mobile games show ads. For this we integrate advertising networks such as Google AdMob (Google Ireland Limited) and Unity Ads (Unity Technologies). These networks process the advertising ID of your device, IP address, device information and, depending on your consent, interaction data in order to deliver and measure ads.

Personalized advertising is only shown with your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR), which is requested in the in-game consent dialog. If you decline, only non-personalized (contextual) ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time in the game's settings, and you can reset or delete your device's advertising ID in your device settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking / Apple Advertising).

More information: Google Ads Policy and Unity Privacy Policy.

8. In-app purchases

Purchases in our mobile games are processed entirely by the respective app store (Google Play or Apple App Store). We do not receive or store your payment details. We process a pseudonymous purchase confirmation (transaction token) to unlock the purchased content and to prevent abuse (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR).

9. Game accounts and account deletion

Some of our games let you create an account or store progress online (e.g. cloud saves, leaderboards). In that case we store the data needed to operate the account: an account identifier, display name, progress and save data, and the platform ID used to sign in.

You can request deletion of your account and the data associated with it at any time:

  • In-game, via the account or settings menu (where available), or
  • By email to contact@realgames.dev with the subject "Account deletion", stating the game and your account name or ID.

We will delete your account and the associated personal data within 30 days of receiving the request. Data that we are legally required to keep (e.g. records of purchases under tax law) is retained for the statutory period and deleted afterwards. Deletion is permanent; progress and purchases cannot be restored.

C. Your rights

10. Data subject rights

You have the right to obtain information about the personal data we store about you (Art. 15 GDPR), as well as the right to rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection to processing (Art. 21). Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@realgames.dev.

11. Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our games or this website change, for example when a new third-party service is added. The current version is always available at this address.
